Menstrual Hygiene Day Celebration. Started early by 26th May..
Oberoi woods -Goregaon a famous & affluent society in Mumbai- taking 3 SESSIONS with HOUSE HELPERS , MAIDS, CLEANERS , WATCHMEN of the building was indeed a privilege for Blissful Women.
Along with President Ms. ALPIKA SINGH & her Associates, we explained & elaborated on how the helpers need to take care of themselves before, they take care of family & others, especially when in periods. We also encouraged them to take help from the ladies, at the home they work for, like tea, bananas or a mat to lay down if not well.
Soon the ice was broken & many questions like hygiene, food to eat , cleanliness in Chawl system, water problems, which period hygiene products to use & the right way, were asked & answered.
Ek- ANEK also donated 350 pads to the helpers present there. Blissful feels every building must have a kind hearted & lovely lady like Ms. Alpika Singh, who cares & concerns for women from all sections of the society .
